Hügelsheim is twinned with Cold Lake, Alberta and with Cartoceto, Italy. According to a local source, the Italians sent over 30 delegates to the past two Spargelfests with the same number expected in 2010. Cold lake, Alberta is expected to send delegates this time as well. Accommodation, as we know, is very limited in Hügelsheim. If you wish to attend our reunion in 2010, please be advised to book now. You can always cancel if necessary.

The owner of the Hotel-Restaurant zum Schwan is Alfred Lips and he responded to me in English. 80 Euros a night including breakfast for a double room (50 Euros for a single). Ten rooms were booked.
